Baingan Bharta - Dhaba Style

Baingan Bharta is one of my most beloved dish. I love to eat it with jowar or bajra roti with minced chilies. Today I am sharing a street style or dhaba style recipe of Baingan Bharta.  Baingan Bharta is basically a South Asian dish that originated in Punjab with resemblance to Baba ghanoush. Baingan Bharta is a part of national cuisines of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh.  It's a classic side dish. Baingan Bharta  Ingredients 1 large eggplant  3-4 garlic cloves 1 large tomato 1 large onion 2 green chilies Finely chopped coriander leaves  1 tsp red chili powder Half tsp turmeric powder  2 pinches of asafoetida  1 tsp cumin powder Half tsp coriander powder  Salt as per taste 3 tsp oil 1 tsp cumin seeds Recipe Apply little oil over the eggplant and roast it over a medium flame.
