Hello Foodies!!! So today I am again sharing a Chilled recipe with you all Khus Cooler.  Khus is also used as a flavouring agent, usually as khus syrup. Khus syrup is made by adding khus essence to sugar, water and citric acid syrup. Khus essence is dark green thick syrup made from the roots. It has a woody taste and a scent characteristic of khus.  Vibrant green Khus Sharbat usually labeles as Khus Syrup can be found at South Asian Stores, but its availability may be limited to summer months.  Using this concentrated syrup you can make a variety of drinks by mixing in chilled water, lemon/lime sodas or ginger ale.
