Moong Dal Khichdi

Moong Dal Khichdi is a simple, easy, tasty and more importantly healthy dish which is mainly prepared from lentils and rice. It is also one of the solid food recipe consumed by young toddlers or kids and also served to adults.  It is one of the most common and popular rice and lentil based dish across India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. Having said that each region has its own variation to it. One can add veggies or top it up with extra spice powder. However this a simple Moong Dal Khichdi recipe that we are going to learn today. I prepare this recipe quite often specially for dinners as it is easy to prepare in jiffy or when you feel like having something light at dinner time. Classic Tex-Mex Nachos recipe for you all. Nachos...Corn Tortilla Chips served with delicious garnish of refried beans, crunchy veggies, salsa and lots of cheese. Kothimbir Vadi is a most delicious snack that can be made at home simply anytime using few ingredients that we find in our kitchen. Earlier I shared Pudachi Vadi which is also known as Kothimbir Vadi. Todays recipe is another version of Kothimbir Vadi that I am sharing with you that is easier to make and is shallow fried. Usually these Kothimbir Vadis are deep fried but the recipe I am sharing is shallow fried. You can serve these Kothimbir Vadis as an appetizer, evening snack, tea time snack.
