Mango Refresh

Today I am sharing one more chilled drink with you all to make you feel relax, cool and soothe yourself this summer with Mango Refresh. Mango Refresh Ingredients 2-3 cups of fresh mango pulp 1-2 tsp fresh cream Sugar (if needed) 10-12 ice cubes Milk (if required) Mixed dry fruits crushed 5-6 saffron strands Recipe Blend mango pulp, fresh cream and ice cubes all together using a grinder. Add milk if you feel the mixture is bit thick. Add sugar depending upon the sweetness of mangoes. Pour the mixture in a glass decorate with crushed dry fruits and saffron strands and served chilled.

In India eggplants are loved when they are prepared using different spices and different styles. Today I am sharing Stuffed Eggplant & Potatoes With Thick Gravy. Looking forward to see your reviews on this blog :) Bharwan Aaloo Baingan (Stuffed Eggplant & Potato) Ingredients Veggies - 7-8 small eggplants 2 medium sized potatoes Cut the potatoes into cubes and dip them in salt water. Slit the eggplants in the centre to make criss-cross mark that divides each eggplant into four parts joined at the stem and dip them in the salt water. Stuffing - 4-5 tsp of crushed sesame powder Half tsp cumin powder Half tsp coriander powder Half tsp turmeric powder Half tsp red chillipowder Salt as per taste 2-3 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tsp lemon juice Mix all the dry ingredients add coriander leaves and lemon juice and keep this stuffing aside. Spinach Cutlets

Snack Time!!! Everyday at 4 or 5 pm we feel hungry and when we think off to eat something we don't have options. But wait here I have an option for you all. Healthy Spinach Cutlets. You can cook them anytime you want and enjoy!!! Spinach Cutlet Ingredients 1 cup spinach finely chopped 5-6 potatoes boiled and peeled off 6-7 bread slices 2-3 tsp chili mint chutney Half tsp black pepper powder 1 cups semolina (rawa) Salt as per taste Oil to shallow fry Recipe Take boiled potatoes peel them off and mash them well in a bowl. Finely chop spinach and add it to the mashed potatoes. Grind the bread slices into a grinder well and mix it with potatoes and spinach. Add chili mint chutney, black pepper powder and salt as per your taste in the mixture and mix well. Now shape up the cutlets as per your choice (round, oval, bullet). Take semolina in a plate and roll the cutlets into the semolina. Make sure you coat all the cuties well with semolina. Heat 2-3 tsp oil

Freezy Kokum

These days it's getting hotter and hotter. Summers are the best to experiment with variety of chilled drinks, ice creams & other cold beverages. Today I am sharing a chilled recipe with you all which will make you feel relaxed and cool in these hot summers :) Freezy Kokum Ingredients 8 table spoons of Kokum syrup (Kokum syrup is available in markets) 5-6 pinches of cumin powder 5-6 pinches of black pepper powder 1-2 pinches of salt Ice cubes or crushed ice 500ml club soda Recipe Take kokum syrup in a bowl. Add cumin powder and black pepper powder into it and mix well.  Keep glasses ready pouring ice cubes or crushed ice into them. Now add club soda to Kokum syrup mix well and pour it into the glasses & serve immediately. *Note - 500 ml of club soda makes 4 glasses of Freezy Kokum *Note - You can add chopped mint leaves to it if you like the taste of it. *Note - The quantity of kokum syrup can depend on your taste.

Khaman Dhokla

Snack time? Breakfast??  What to prepare for snack or breakfast? This question usually comes in our mind... Today I am sharing a simple recipe with you called Khaman Dhokla. This is speciality of Gujarat State in India.  For health conscious people this is the best dish as it is steamed so no extra fat and no extra calories. A simple and easy to make recipe. Khaman Dhokla Ingredients 3 cups of gram flour (besan) Half tsp turmeric powder Half tsp sugar 1 tsp lemon juice 4-5 pinches of baking soda or Eno sachet Salt as per taste 2 cups water 4 tsp oil 2 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 tsp desiccated coconut Recipe Sieve gram flour in a bowl add 2-3 pinches of turmeric powder and start adding little water. Mix well so there should be no lumps in the batter. Make a smooth batter. Add salt as per taste, sugar and lemon juice. Mix well and keep it aside for 20-25 mins. Later add baking soda to the batter and mix

Aaloo Paratha is one of the beloved dishes for all age groups. This dish is originated from Punjab, India. These days you can find this recipe everywhere in India. It is whole meal that you can have for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can have this dish with yogurt, pickle of your choice, tomato ketchup or have it as it is.  Aaloo Paratha Ingredients 5-6 potatoes boiled and peeled off 1 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp turmeric powder Half tsp dry manga powder Half tsp cumin powder Half tsp coriander powder 2-3 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves 3 cups on wheat flour Salt as per taste 2 tsp oil Small cup of clarified butter (ghee) 2 cups of water Recipe Take wheat flour in a bowl add some salt to it and mix well. Start adding water slowly and knead well to make a dough. Add little oil and knead well. Cover it and leave it for 15-20 mins so that it bonds well enough to make bread. Sodyache Thalipeeth

Today I am sharing a recipe that I learnt from my mother. This recipe is our family's speciality. My great grand mother used to make this and later everybody learnt this recipe from her and started preparing it the same way she used to make it. You can say this recipe is being followed generation wise in our family. This recipe is knows as Sodyache Thalipeeth. Its a kind on Pan Cake as the batter we have to prepare is like paste. This pan cake is not sweet. I request you all who read out the recipe should make it one time and have it I am sure you all will love this recipe and will share your views about it on this blog. Sodyache Thalipeeth Ingredients 3 cups of wheat flour 2-3 cups of milk 1 cup of yogurt Half tsp baking soda Salt as per taste Clarified butter (ghee) for shallow frying Recipe Take 3 cups of wheat flour in a bowl add yogurt and milk, mix well and form a paste. Add baking soda and salt as per taste. And let it rest for 5-10 mins. He
