Mango Banana Smoothie

Summer season is Mango season. Today I'm sharing a yummy mango drink with you all. I hope this drink will soothe you this summer and you will enjoy it with your family and friends. Mango Banana Smoothie  Ingredients   2 mangoes  2-3 bananas 5-6 Ice cubes Sugar (if needed) 2-3 saffron strands Recipe Peel mangoes and bananas. Chop and put them in a blender. Add ice cubes, add saffron strands. Blend them all together till you get smooth texture of the mixture. Add sugar if needed. Pour the mixture in a glass. Refrigerate for 1 hour and enjoy Mango Banana Smoothie.

Rawa Appam

Appam is one of the South Indian dishes. Usually it is made with rice and urad daal but today I am sharing a quick and easy to make recipe of Rawa Appam, so whenever you feel like having Appam or tea time snack or evening snack this dish can be a very good option. Rawa Appam Ingredients   2-3 cups Rawa (semolina) 1 onion finely chopped 2-3 chillies finely chopped Salt as per taste  2-3 cups of water Oil for shallow frying  Recipe Mix rawa, water and salt as per your taste in a bowl forming a paste like batter. Let it rest for 2-3 hours. Later add chopped onions and chilies to the batter and mix well. Heat Appam dish on medium flame. Add oil in each slot in the dish. Now add a tsp of batter in each circle and cover the aappam dish with a lid for. Cook aappams for 2-3 min on medium flame then flip to the other side. Cook aappams from both the side till the turn golden in color. Serve aappams with any chutney of your choice, sambhar or ketchup.

Sev Batata Puri

Today sharing a chatpati chaat recipe. Simple and very easy to make at home. Shev Batata Puri is a snack loved by kids and adults just the same. Anytime you feel like having chaat you can make it and enjoy. Sev Batata Puri Ingredients  10-15 puris 1 small cup green chutney 3-4 potatoes boiled 1 onion finely chopped 3-4 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves 1 small cup sweet chutney 2 tsp red chili powder 1 cup sev Salt as per taste  2 tsp chaat masala Recipe Arrange puris in a plate. Make small holes into it. Keep them aside. Mash potatoes in a bowl add red chilli powder and chaat masala as per your taste and mix well. Stuff the potato stuffing in the puris add green chutney and sweet chutney. Add chopped onions and garnish with sev and coriander leaves. Sprinkle red chili powder and serve immediately.

Onion Pakora

When it rains in India everyone feels like having hot pakoras with different chutneys. One of the snacks that is loved by everyone. Today I am sharing the best snack with you Onion Pakora also known as Kaanda Bhaje or Onion Fritters. Onion Pakora Ingredients 6-7 onions 2-3 cups gram flour 2 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp carom seeds 3-4 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves Salt as per taste Water Oil for frying Recipe Slice onions. Take onions in a mixing bowl add salt and dry spices red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, carom seeds and salt to it and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.  Now add 2-3 tsp gram flour to it mix well. Add more gram flour to make a paste like structure add little water to it and mix well. Add coriander leaves. Add salt if necessary. Heat enough oil in a wok for frying. Once the oil is hot enough start adding smaller chunks of the batter with a spoon and start frying. Fry the pakor

Phool Gobi Keema

Phool Gobi (cauliflower) can be prepared in different ways. We find this vegetable available in markets whole year.  Today I am sharing a bit different recipe with you, Phool Gobi Keema or we can call it Spicy Minced Cauliflower. We can have this dish with roti, naan, tortilla, paratha or bread. I learnt it from my mother. Sharing this recipe with you all because I personally love this dish ;) I hope you all will enjoy this dish at your home :) Phool Gobi Keema (Spicy Minced Cauliflower) Ingredients 1 medium sized cauliflower 2 medium onions Half tsp garlic paste 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 tsp oil 3-4 tsp coriander leaves 1 tsp lemon juice 2 green chillies slit into two (optional) 1 tsp sesame seeds 1 tsp red chilli powder Half tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala powder 1/4th tsp cinnamon powder Salt as per taste Recipe Blend cauliflower coarsely in a grinder.
