Popular Nepali street food "DUMPLINGS" or "MOMOS". I seriously don't remember when I had these yummy dumplings or momos for the first time.  A pleasant winter, rainy or summer evening, craving for something light but yummy will definitely lead you to make these yummy Steamed Wheat Dumplings or Momos. We usually get to eat dumplings made up of All Purpose Flour (Maida). But I am sharing a Wheat Dumpling recipe with you that is healthier version of it. We can make different types of stuffing for these dumplings like mix veggie, paneer, cabbage, Chinese style and so on. Today I am sharing Info Chinese style of these Wheat Dumplings. Dahi Vada is a dish made up with fried urad dal (black gram) dumplings dipped in sweet and sour yogurt topped with spices. Its a kind of chaat and is very popular dish in India. Dahi Vada is also known as Dahi Bhalla in Punjabi. Before serving these vadas, they are soaked in water or buttermilk for half an hour at least. Experience bliss in every bite of this recipe. Dahi Vada Ingredients 2 cups urad dal (split black gram - skin less) Half inch ginger 2-3 green chillies 2-3 pinches of baking soda 2 cups of yogurt or curd 1 small cup red chili powder 1 smal cup cumin powder 1 small cup chaat masala 1 small cup coriander powder Sugar as per taste Half cup tamarind pulp 1 cup coriander leaves 2 cups butter milk Salt as per taste Oil for frying Recipe Soak urad dal for 4-5 hours. Tawa Pulao is one of the famous street foods in Mumbai. Its like a fusion of Pav Bhaji and Fried Rice into a single dish. This dish can become a quick treat for your guests. The street vendors use a huge tawa to prepare this dish. This is a quick recipe if you have a left over rice. Tawa Pulao goes best with yogurt, raita or onion lemon salad or any pickle of your choice. Tawa Pulao Ingredients 2 cups of basmati rice (long grain rice) 1 large capsicum (green bell pepper) 1 large onion 1 large tomato 1 medium sized carrot Half cup peas 1 boiled potato 3-4 cauliflower florets 4-5 tsp coriander leaves. 2-3 tsp pav bhaji masala 1 tsp clarified butter (ghee) 2 tsp butter Recipe Wash rice nicely. Pav Bhaji is one of the most loved dish. Pav Bhaji is a fast food from Maharashtra, India, consisting thick vegetable curry served with a soft bread roll. Pav Bhaji is one of the yummiest street food. But considering hygiene we can prepare this recipe at home too and enjoy well. Pav Bhaji Ingredients 4 large potatoes 1 large or 2 medium green bell peppers 1 cup cauliflower florets Half cup green peas 1 onion finely chopped 2 tomatoes finely chopped 2-3 tsp pan bhaji masala (I used everest pav bhaji masala) 2-3 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves Salt as per taste 3-4 tsp butter 1 tsp oil 2-3 cups water Recipe Roughly chop bell pepper and cauliflower.
