Methi Paneer Rice

Methi is one of the most healthy vegetable. Though it is bitter in taste but it is very healthy to eat methi in your meal.
Including methi in your meal is very important.
Today I am sharing a very simple and easy to make Methi Paneer Rice. A simple and a different style of making rice when you feel like having something different than regular dishes that we have on our daily basis.
Enjoy making this dish at home. You can also serve this rice preparation to your guest when you host a party. This can be a different treat for your guests too.


Methi Paneer Rice
Ingredients
  • 250 gms of basmati rice
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped methi
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 8-10 paneer cubes
  • Half tsp red chili powder
  • Half tsp cumin powder
  • Half cup boiled peas
  • Salt as per taste

Recipe

Cook rice in microwave for 13-15 minutes.

Cut paneer into cubes and keep aside.

Heat oil in a wok and add finely chopped onion to it and sauté well. Now add finely chopped methi to it and cook well by covering wok with a lid.

Now add red chili powder and cumin powder to it and mix well. Now add paneer cubes and boiled peas to it and mix well.

Now add cooked rice and salt as per taste and toss well. Cook over medium flame for 2 more minutes and serve.
