Tomato Chutney

Tomato Chutney goes well with Idli, Dosa, Roti, Paratha, Puri, Rice etc.
The tangy and spicy taste of this chutney makes our breakfast, lunch or dinner yummier. This spicy chutney is made up with fresh ripe tomatoes.



Tomato Chutney
Ingredients
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 green chillies
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 2-3 tsp coriander leaves
  • Half tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt as per taste

Recipe

Wash tomatoes nicely and roughly chop them. Also roughly chop chillies and garlic cloves.

Take tomatoes, garlic cloves, green chillies, coriander leaves, sugar, olive oil in a grinding jar. Add salt as per your taste and grind all the ingredients to a smooth paste. 
Take the paste in a serving bowl and serve with parathas, rice, idli or dosa, and so on.


*Note - If the tomatoes you are using are too sour to taste you can increase the quantity of sugar in it.

*Note - You can also add few pinches of Kashmiri red chili powder to add some more color to the chutney.

*Note - The quantity of green chillies depend upon your taste.
