Fusion Fries
After Cheesy Fries, today I am sharing a new tasty tangy recipe made with fries. I am sure everyone in your family will love this dish including kids. Fusion fries is a recipe I once tried in a restaurant. Later I tried making it at home my version of fusion fries which turned out tastier than I had in the restaurant. You can enjoy this recipe as an appetizer, tea time snack or evening snack.
Fusion Fries
Ingredients
- 1 cup potato fries
- 1 tsp sour cream or cream cheese
- 2-3 tsp spring onion greens
- 3 tsp corn flour
- 2 tsp all purpose flour (maida)
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp red chili sauce
- 2 tsp tomato sauce
- 1/4tsp sugar
- Salt as per taste
- Half cup water
- Oil
Recipe
Take half of the vegetables cabbage, carrots, onion and 1 tsp spring onion greens in a mixing bowl. Add corn flour and all purpose flour to it. Add soya sauce and salt as per taste and mix well. Make small balls out of it.
Heat oil in a wok. Dip the balls into it and fry them till they turn golden brown in color. Keep them on a kitchen towel and keep them aside.
In another pan heat 1 tsp oil and add remaining vegetables into it and sauté them well. Add soya sauce, red chili sauce and tomato sauce into vegetables and mix well.
Mix 1 tsp of corn flour in 3 spoons of water and make paste of it. Add this paste to the vegetables and mix well. Add little water and sugar to it. Mix well add salt as per your taste. Now add the fried balls to the vegetables and mix well and cook it for 3-4 mins.
Heat oil in a pan fry the potato fries till the turn crispy golden in color.
Assemble the fries in a bowl. Pour the ready manchurian ball over the fries and garnish with cream cheese or sour cream and serve immediately.
