Boil milk over a medium flame. Add sugar as per your taste to it. Keep stirring.
Mix custard powder in little milk forming a paste. Add custard powder paste to the boiling milk.
Keep stirring continuously. You will get a nice thick mixture of milk and custard. Switch of the flame and let it cool down to the room temperature.

Cut all the fruits into small pieces. Mix the cut fruits in the milk and custard mixture.

Pour the fruit and milk mixture into glasses or serving cups. Garnish with cherries or strawberries and saffron strands. Put the glasses or serving cups in refrigerator for 2 hours to chill.
Serve chilled.
