Potato Croquets

Potato Croquets is one of the easiest recipes to make when you have kids around, also as an evening snack or also you can serve it as an appetizer before lunch or dinners to your guests. 
This can be one of the best options to have at pool parties. 
It takes just a little effort to make these yummy Potato Croquets.



Potato Croquets
Ingredients
  • 3-4 boiled potatoes
  • Half cup carrot shredded
  • Half cup boiled peas
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 cup bread crumbs or semolina
  • 1 tsp green chili paste
  • Half cup mozzarella or processed cheese
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying

Recipe

Take potatoes, shredded carrot and boiled peas in a mixing bowl and mash them nicely mixing together. Add ginger garlic paste, half of the bread crumbs, green chili paste, black pepper powder, salt as per taste and cheese to it. Mix well forming a dough. Now take small part of the dough and roll it into cylinder shape. Do this for making all remaining croquets.

Roll all the croquets into remaining bread crumbs and coat them nicely from all the sides.

Heat oil for deep frying. Now dip the croquets in the oil gently and fry them till you get golden color.

Serve hot.


*Note - If you don't have bread crumbs availble, you can use bread slices by cutting sides of it and use semolina to coat the croquets.

*Note - Also you can use 2-3 tsp corn flour for binding the croquets and semolina to coat them before frying.

*Note - You can add red chili powder instead of adding green chili paste.
