Spinach Cutlets

Snack Time!!!
Everyday at 4 or 5 pm we feel hungry and when we think off to eat something we don't have options. But wait here I have an option for you all. Healthy Spinach Cutlets. You can cook them anytime you want and enjoy!!!


Spinach Cutlet

Ingredients
  • 1 cup spinach finely chopped
  • 5-6 potatoes boiled and peeled off
  • 6-7 bread slices
  • 2-3 tsp chili mint chutney
  • Half tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 cups semolina (rawa)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil to shallow fry
Recipe

Take boiled potatoes peel them off and mash them well in a bowl. Finely chop spinach and add it to the mashed potatoes. Grind the bread slices into a grinder well and mix it with potatoes and spinach.
Add chili mint chutney, black pepper powder and salt as per your taste in the mixture and mix well. Now shape up the cutlets as per your choice (round, oval, bullet). Take semolina in a plate and roll the cutlets into the semolina. Make sure you coat all the cuties well with semolina.
Heat 2-3 tsp oil on a skillet and put cutlets over it. Using a spatula flip the cutlets to the other side. Cook all the cutlets till you see a nice golden brown color.
Serve them with any chutney of your choice or ketchup.

*Note - For binding the cutlets you can use the left over rotis instead of bread. Crush the rotis using a grinder and add them to potato spinach mixture for binding. This will make your cutlets healthier and you can easily skip eating bread.


*Note - You can prepare these cutlets for breakfast too.
*Note - You can keep the basic material ready so you can prepare for the guests visit.
*Note - If you don't wish to add chili mint chutney you can just add red chili powder to it.
