Garlic Potato Burrito

We all know and love Burrito. Burrito is a very tasty and tempting dish from Mexico.
Burrito is a Tortilla wrap with crunchy veggies or refried beans stuffed in it. Earlier I have shared an authentic Mexican Burrito with you all.
So today I am sharing a bit different Burrito recipe with you all. This burrito recipe is actually invented by my husband that he tried making from scratch. Later he told me to make this style of burrito and I found it amazingly tasty so thought of sharing with you all my foodie buddies.
So todays recipe is Garlic Potato Burrito. 
A no mess and very easy to make recipe, that can be enjoyed at anytime, can be carried in lunch box and is less spicy so even kids will love it and enjoy.
Serve this style burrito to your guests when you host a party and tighten up you collar in front of them. This is going to be very popular within your friend circle soon and you will asked more often to make it.




Garlic Potato Burrito
Ingredients
  • 4 tortillas
  • 3 potatoes
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • 1 onion 
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Half tsp red chili powder
  • Half lemon
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 small cup ketchup
  • 1 small cup siracha sauce
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • Salt

Recipe

Pickled Onions :-
Finely chop onions. Add red chili powder, squeeze lemon juice over it and season with salt. Mix well and keep aside.

Potato Stuffing :- 

Mince or grate garlic.

Chop potatoes into cubes.

Heat butter in pan and add green chilies to it. Sauté for 30 seconds. 
Now add potato cubes to it, add garlic, black pepper to it and season with salt. Mix well and cover it with lid and cook till tender and soft.

Assembling Garlic Potato Burrito:-

Heat a skillet on medium flame.

Take one tortilla in a plate and place potato stuffing in the middle of it. Garnish with lettuce and pickled onions and grated cheese. Top with ketchup and siracha sauce. Roll it tight closing both the ends.

Place the roll over the heated skillet and roast from both sides and serve.



*Note :- You can simply skip siracha sauce and green chilis when you are serving these burritos to kids.
