Cakes are delicious and the love for cake is just not limited unto kids but every age group love cakes.
We find variety of cakes available in markets. We usually go to market and buy the cakes. Some people who like cooking find it bit tedious to bake cake at home.
Today I am sharing a very simple recipe of Apple Cake which you can easily make at your home following w easy step and dust in 5 minutes in your microwave. No baking, pre heating and long time waiting for cake.

Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 1 large apple
- 1 cup all purpose flour (maida)
- Half cup butter (I used unsalted butter)
- Half cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- Half cup mixed dry fruits
- 3-4 tsp chocolate chips
Recipe
(Firstly we need to prepare apple sauce for the cake)
Peel off the apple and grate in a bowl.
Now heat a pan and add grated apple and sugar to it. Mix well till all the sugar is dissolved and you get a nice thick mixture of apple and sugar. Switch off the flame and let the apple sauce cool down to the room temperature.
Now take all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda in a strainer and strain these ingredients 2-3 times.
Take butter in another bowl and add the apple sauce to it and mix well. Whisk till it becomes fluffy.
Now add the all purpose flour mixture to it and mix well. Make sure there are no lumps in he batter.
Add some of the mixed dry fruits and mix.
Now take a microwave safe bowl. Place a butter paper at the bottom of the bowl. Grease the bowl and butter paper with butter from all the sides.
Now pour the batter to it. Garnish the batter by adding some more dry fruits and chocolate chips over it.
Now place the bowl in microwave and bake the cake for 4-5 minutes. Take out the cake and check if the cake is ready by inserting a knife into it. If your knife comes out clean it means your cake is ready or else you can bake the cake for 1 more minute.
Let the cake cool down to the room temperature then run the knife from all the sides of cake and then flip the bowl to separate the cake from it.
Cut into pieces and serve.
You can store the cake for 10-12 days in an air tight container.
*Note - After you add apple sauce to the batter, you can add some extra sugar depending upon your taste.
*Note - Measurements should be made using a same bowl so the preparation will be good.
*Note - You can use any dry fruit or chocolate of your choice.
