- 1 cup gram flour
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- Half inch ginger
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Half tsp turmeric

Recipe

Wash and pat dry karela. Slit karela in the center keeping the base intact and scrape the seeds out of it.
Now apply salt inside and outside of it. Let it marinade for 10-15 minutes.
Now wash the karelas for 2-3 times with enough water and squeeze properly.
Now take gram flour in a mixing bowl and add all the dry spices to it. Now add ginger garlic paste to it and mix well.
Now stuff this gram flour stuffing in to slit karela. Press the masala stuffing tightly so it won't come out of karela.
*Note - You can use a thread to tie the karela.
Heat 4-5 tsp oil in a pan and place the karelas in to it. Shallow fry it from all the sides nicely.
Remove them from heat and untie them if you have used a thread to tie karela and serve.
*Note - You can also use little water to knead gram flour stuffing.
