Lasuniya Palak

Lasuniya Palak is an amazingly tasty and garlicky flavored spinach recipe that can be served with Roti, Paratha, Naan, Steamed Rice or Pulao.
This dish is really easy and very quick to make. This dish being less spicy even kids will love it.
You can also carry this dish in your lunch box.
For health cautious people, this dish can be one of the best option as it is less oily.
Spinach is full of Vitamin C and an Iron rich vegetable so is very healthy for us.

Lasuniya Palak
Ingredients
  • 500 grams of spinach leaves
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 green chilies (optional)
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Half tsp turmeric powder


Recipe

Wash and chop spinach leaves.

Finely chop garlic and chilies (chilies - if using)

Heat up oil in a pan and add garlic to it. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. You will see the garlic will start browning nicely then lower the heat down.

Add chilies and sauté for 30 seconds (if using)

Now add chopped spinach to it. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt as per your taste to it and mix well.

Cover with lid and cook over medium flame.

Serve hot with Roti, Paratha, Naan, Steamed Rice or Pulao.



* Note - If you wish your vegetable to be spicy then you can add chili to it or you can skip that step.
