Urad Dal Pakoda

Image
Urad Dal batter is generally associated with the South Indian Vada, but here I am sharing a Pakoda Recipe made with urad dal batter and it tastes amazingly yummy. Though it is fried but I have tried adding little health to it by adding Spinach and Curry Leaves to it. Also onions, ginger and green chilies add an amazing crunch to it. Enjoy this snack hot and crisp with green or red chutney or ketchup. When it comes to make pakoras we don't need to bother a lot about the shape of it. Serve these pakoras as appetizer, carry them in lunch box, skip chili and serve it to kids, have them for breakfast or brunch. I would say simply enjoy these pakoras anytime ;) Urad Dal Pakoda Ingredients 1 cup soaked urad dal Half cup gram flour (Besan) 10-15 spinach leaves 1 onion 3-4 green chilies Half inch ginger 8-10 curry leaves Half tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder Salt as per taste Oil to deep fry Recipe Take soaked dal in a grinding jar and add ginger t...
