Veg Clear Soup

Soups are my absolute comfort food and recently I am making them often and  having it before dinner. Also soups are filling and plus they feel light on tummy. Veg Clear Soup is the most healthy and very easy to make soup.

Veg Clear Soup
Ingredients
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp corn flour
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Handful of peas
  • 8-10 spinach leaves
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 small cup shredded cabbage
  • 3-4 green onions

Recipe

Take water in a pan and start heating it.

Finely chop garlic and add it to the warm water and let it boil for 2 minutes.

Dice carrots, finely chop green onions, shred cabbage and roughly chop spinach or simply break spinach leaves with your hands.

Now add black pepper to the boiling water and lower the heat. Now add carrots, spring onions and shredded cabbage to it and mix well. Add salt as per your taste.

Mix corn flour with little water and form a paste. Add corn flour paste to the mixture and stir continuously. The mixture will start thickening. When the mixture starts boiling at last add spinach leaves to it. Be careful that spinach leaves are not over cooked.

Switch off the heat and serve Veg Clear Soup.
