Spinach Tikki

Spinach Tikki is one of the most yummiest snack that can be made for breakfast, tea time or as evening snack. You can also serve these tikkis as appetizer to your guests when you host a party.
These tikkis can be made 100% oil free that make it more healthier. 
Ladies!!! This is one more dish option to serve when you host a kitty party.
These tikkis are also less spicy so even kids will love it and you can also pack these tikkis for your kids lunch box too.



Spinach Tikki
Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Half tsp turmeric powder
  • Half tsp chaat masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for shallow frying (Optional if using non stick skillet or pan)

Recipe

Blanch chopped spinach.

Boil potatoes and peel them off.

Take boiled potatoes and mash them. Add blanched spinach to it. Add bread crumbs to it.

Now add all the dry spices and season with salt. Mix well.

Heat a pan or skillet and grease it with little oil.

Take out small part out of the ready dough and shape them into patties or the shape them as you like.

Gently put the patties over the pan and cook them from both the sides by flipping them. Cook them till you get a nice golden brown color from both the sides.

Serve these tikkis with Ketchup or Green Chutney.




*Note - Be careful while you season the dough mixture with salt as we will also be adding chaat masala to it.

*Note - You can also add finely chopped green chilies to it if you like.
