Cheesy Tomato Pasta With Bread Pizza

Sharing an Italian recipe with you all. Pizzas, Pastas are all time favorite these days in young generation and kids. Kids are cheese lovers so they love these dishes because lots of cheese is added to these dishes. So lets add cheese and tomato in pasta and pizza and start enjoying our favorite dishes and fulfill our food cravings!

Pasta

Ingredients
  • Pasta of your choice (Penne, Macaroni, Swirl, etc)
  • 2 medium sized tomatoes
  • 1 green chilli
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 2 tsp of all purpose flour (maida)
  • 4 cheese cubes or 4 cheese slices
  • 1 bell pepper (capsicum) chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 small cup of boiled french beans
  • 1 small cup boiled corn kernels
  • Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • Half tsp paprika
  • A jar of water
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tsp oil
Recipe

Boil the pasta adding enough water to it. When the pasta is half cooked add 1 tsp oil to it. After the pasta is cooked nicely strain it and add 1 tsp oil and mix well so the pasta won't be sticky.
Add 2 tsp of whole wheat flour (maida) to milk and mix well so that lumps would be dissolved properly and keep aside.
Blend tomatoes, green chilli and garlic cloves together forming a smooth paste.
Now heat 2 tsp of butter in a pan, add onions, bellpepers, french beans and fry them for few mins. Add the blended tomato puree and cook well till it becomes thick. Now add the whole wheat flour and milk mixture to it and mix well. Bring to boil. Now add black pepper powder, salt, oregano and cheese to it. Cook till the cheese melts. Add water or milk if you need to make the sauce thin or need to increase the quantity of it. Add boiled pasta and corn kernels and mix well. At last add the chilli flakes and mix well.

Take out the pasta in a oven friendly container and shred 2 cheese cubes over it, and microwave the pasta till the cheese is melted.
Our tangy cheesy pasta is ready.

Bread Pizza

Ingredients
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 cheese cubes
  • 2 medium sized tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1 cup boiled corn kernels
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt as per taste
Recipe

Dice tomatoes, 1 onion, 1 bell pepper, garlic cloves and boil them all together for 15 mins. Switch off the flame and let it cool down completely. Blend all the ingredients to a smooth paste.
Heat 2 tsp of olive oil and add the blended paste to it. Cook the paste for 5-7 mins. Add the black pepper powder, chilli flakes, oregano and tomato ketchup to it and let it boil for few more mins.
Dice the remaining 1 onion and bell pepper. Add them to the mixture and cook for 2 mins. Now add the boiled corn kernels and salt to taste. Cook for 2 mins and our pizza sauce is ready.

Pre-heat the oven on 180 degrees celsius. Take the bread slices and apply our sauce over them, grate cheese cubes over them and put in the pre heated oven for 3-5 mins.

If you do not have oven then you can make the same pizza over a pan too. Keep the bread slices ready applying sauce and cheese over them and place them over the pan with a glass lid. Roast the breads for 2-3 mins or the cheese is melted on a lower medium flame, and our bread pizza is ready.


*Note - You ca use low fat unsalted butter for preparing pasta.
*Note - While preparing pizza sauce you can use any oil that is available at your home. I used extra    virgin olive oil. (Italian food tastes best with olive oil)
*Note - In pasta if you don't like the taste of milk too much so instead of adding more milk you can add some water to make the sauce thin.
*Note - You can use the veggies of our choice adding in pasta and pizza sauce. Different colors of bell peppers makes it look more tempting.
