Stir Fried Udon Noodles

We get to eat a variety of noodles in restaurants, but the question arises how to make them at home.
In all these varied noodles that we get to eat, there is an unique type of noodle that is Udon Noodles. These noodles are already cooked and packed in an air tight packaging. You can cut the packet and use it directly. Also if you wish to add them to hot water that can also be done.
Today I am sharing a yummy spicy Stir Fried recipe of these Udon Noodles.
This dish is easy to make and can be made for brunch, lunch and dinner. Also kids will love it, just you need make it less spicy for them ;)
Enjoy making these noodles at home and enjoy with your family and friends. You can also serve these noodles to your guests when you host a party.
Stir Fried Udon Noodles
Ingredients
- 2 packs of udon noodles
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 medium sized carrot
- 4 spring onions
- 2 white radish
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 inch ginger
- 50 gms of sprouts
- 2 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp siracha sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp tomato ketchup
- 3-4 tsp crushed peanuts
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tsp olive oil
Recipe
Slice bell pepper, onion, white radish and carrots lengthwise.
Chop carrots into cubes.
Finely chop spring onion greens and whites.
Grate or mince garlic cloves and ginger.
Heat oil in a broad wok and add sliced onions to it and sauté well. Now add garlic and ginger to it and mix well.
Now add bell peppers to it and mix well. Now add other veggies white radish, carrots and half of the spring onoin greens and whites to it and mix well.
Now add black pepper powder, soya sauce, siracha sauce and tomato sauce to it and mix well.
Now add Udon Noodles crumbling gently. Now add sprouts and crushed peanuts over it. Add salt as per taste and toss well.
Garnish with parsley, spring onions and serve.
*Note - If you wish to make noodles more spicy you can add copped green chili or red chili flakes to it.
